Eco Lodges
Our Eco Lodges, endorsed by Bear Grylls, built with recycled and sustainable materials in early 2011, offer an environmentally friendly accommodation option, with the flexibility of either a catered or self-catered set-up.
The two lodges, known as Ash Lodge and Beech Lodge, can accommodate up to 14 people each, with a separate room for up to two group leaders in each.
The lodges feature energy efficient insulation and heating, and environmentally conscious users can even monitor their electricity and water consumption. What’s more the lodges even recycle rainwater for flushing the toilet!
The lodges are self-contained in the woods with their own kitchen, showers and toilets, but are fully serviced by Lodge Hill including bed linen. The lodges are ideal for small groups and team building exercises and feature their own BBQ and campfire area, ideal for evening entertainment in the summer.
Ash Lodge is fully accessible to wheelchair users and provides a safe and secure location for all visitors that wish to stay on site.
We consider that feed back from our user groups is very important. and after listening to you we are pleased to announce that we will now be installing sliding doors on the leaders rooms. This work will take place over the winter ready for next season.
