As a venue for short-stay residential courses, Lodge Hill has become a significant point in the development of thousands of young people and adults over the years.

For many it is the best communal experience in their lives. Some groups return again and again, keen to experience the challenges and the teamwork that enables them to meet those tests.

Lodge Hill welcomes people of all backgrounds; Schools, musicians, budding actors and artists, disadvantaged children from the length and the breadth of the country. We especially welcome those who need extra support and help.


Accommodation

Lodge Hill can accommodate up to 72 people over three floors in 28 comfortable and spacious bedrooms, all of which have basins with hot and cold water. There are 15 bath/shower rooms, including two adapted for the physically disabled. All bedding is provided - guests need only bring towels, personal clothing and toiletries. If the weather is wet during your stay we have an efficient drying room.
All bedrooms were refurbished in the winter of 2007 / 2008.

Catering

All food is prepared on site, and we are proud of the quality of the meals offered. Any special diets can be accommodated, as can a range of options - for example, packed lunches, buffets or barbecues. Most meals are taken in our dining room.


Facilities

There is a full size tennis court in the grounds that is also marked out for five-a-side football or short tennis. The Studio, which is set a little apart from the main house, contains a pool table and table tennis table, and is available for use by the residents in the evenings.The barbecue amphitheatre site is ideal for entertaining large groups, and is situated between the high ropes course and the tennis court.

Your group will be allocated rooms in the main house to use as training or lounge areas. This will be depending on the size of your group and whether you are sharing the facilities.
